BrightFarms is a national leader in the booming indoor farming industry, transforming how produce is grown and delivered with its expanding network of high-tech, sustainable hydroponic farms. We currently operate six high-tech greenhouse farms, with four new regional salad greenhouse hubs breaking ground to begin opening in 2024. BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 3,700 retail stores across the East Coast and Midwest.

The Supply Planning Manager will create, lead, and optimize supply planning operations processes. It includes managing daily, weekly, and monthly supply-forecasts, estimates for harvest volumes, and direction when planning Legacy Farm Pond Maps as well as changes in the plans with the New ILG model. The goal of the Supply Planning Manager is to optimize efficiency, communication, and improve order fulfillment. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Demand Planning.


Specifically, you will:

  • Enhance current S&OP processes to improve visibility of supply-demand planning
  • Improve collaboration between sales, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Partner with Sales and Ops team to plan and improve daily fulfillment
  • Coordinate Monthly pond map meeting process
  • Develop Models for the supply-demand planning process
  • Create, analyze, and report supply chain KPIs to improve end to end supply chain
  • Conduct analysis for benchmarking current network supply
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
  • Recommend alternative solutions to ensure secure, uninterrupted supply
  • Other Responsibilities as needed

The ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 5 years relevant supply chain experience, preferably in fast-moving consumer products manufacturing
  • Expertise in end-to-end supply chain management procedures and best practices
  • Experience with supply chain software (i.e., TMS, WMS, and ERP systems)
  • Capable of working remotely with minimal supervision as a self-starter
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or master’s degree in related field (Finance, Operations, etc.)
  • Strategic and creative thinker who can drive communication and keep pace with a changing supply chain
  • Strong teammate, with the innate ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detailed understanding of supply chain cost drivers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great organizational skill and attention to detail
  • Strong computer and analytical skills – MS Office

Additional Notes:

  • Travel 10% to 15% Annually
